I would like to hear more about what you think of mother nature and how you think man tamed her? How long has Old Mom been around? Would like to understand your thoughts on Gen 1. Excellent writer you are (Yoda)! Your illustrations to explain your points are well thought out and fun to follow...thank you!
Jeff, thanks! I'm glad to hear you are enjoying the blog!
At a super high level, my answer to your first question has mainly to do with the technological advancements we've made. We've "conquered" disease, nutrition, shelter, transport, etc. etc., all things that made life difficult before. There's still plenty left! But for the first time, in the scope of human history, it looks like we're ahead.
To your second question, it would have to be at the point the universe was formed. C. S. Lewis in miracles describes Nature as an accomodating servant, ready to let God in whenever He chooses. Strongly recommend reading, and I think it's a short read as well.
