Ecclesiastes 9:17

Noise

Our lives are noise, noise, and more noise. Noise from our phones, noise from our roads, noise from the words spoken at the house too close to ours.

You have to see this meme. You have to see this movie. You have to see this tv series. Have you seen what is happening in Portland? Did you see what Trump said?

We need you on this meeting at 8 am. We need you to have this done today. We need you to have this done before tomorrow. Can you be online at 3 am? Can you get this done over the weekend?

Shouts, shouts, shouts and everyone has nothing to say except for what they’ve heard from someone else. No one is original. It’s all been done. It’s all going down the drain.

Breath.

How can we hope to hear what is good and true if we only listen to men?

How can we repair our home if we do not speak to our family?

How can we know God’s heart if we no longer listen?

The world is built by the prince of the air not to make you a murderer, ne’er-do-well, or criminal.

It’s built to make you forget,

To no longer see the sky and know its maker,

To lose your soul,

To take your heart.

Pray and ask for wisdom.
